After reading A Praying Life, Terry McCurley’s prayer life and relationship with God changed tremendously. Years later, she attended a J-Curve Seminar where Paul Miller was speaking. Terry went to the book table and was thrilled to find a Bible study for those affected by disabilities, like her nephew, Jon. Since then, Jon and Terry went through all the Bethesda studies together, and the Bethesda team reached out after she ordered a book from the seeJesus website. After meeting with the team on Zoom, Terry told her husband, “These are my people!” She knew that the Bethesda ministry was where God wanted her to spend her next season of ministry.

Before becoming the Bethesda Training Coordinator for the West Coast, Terry has served as a Children’s Ministry Director, a writer and trainer for Celebrating Children and a missionary in Sweden for 10 years. She lives in Boring, Oregon with her husband, Philip, and they have 3 adult daughters and 2 sons-in-law who she loves dearly.
