How can I love without burning out?

Without faith, we have no energy to love. But how do we get it? What does it look and feel like? Unit 4 compares and contrasts sketches of true and false faith, and the shades of faith in between: crowds angling to king Jesus; the disciples terrified of Jesus calming the storm; Peter overwhelmed by the waves; and, the rich young ruler almost wanting to follow Jesus. Studying Jesus’ interaction with the woman at the well, we see how Jesus’ faith undergirds a perfect blend of compassion, honesty, and dependence on God. The unit ends by examining oneness, the goal of love, and repentance as the only means of accessing it.
