Emily spent years digging into theology books and commentaries, desperately wanting to learn about God, but found herself missing the heart and person of Jesus. Bethesda Director Felicia Grandinette invited Emily to a Bethesda Bible study one night, and biblical truths that Emily heard her entire life were being taught in a way that finally moved from her head into her heart. Emily now serves as the Bethesda Assistant and also trains other leaders how to lead their own interactive, adapted Bible studies. She enjoys long walks in the sunshine with her dog, Ace.
