Money and the Heart Seminar

Scripture emphasizes that there are two bad directions the heart can take with money. We can be licentious and undisciplined with money resulting in the slavery of debt. The other opposite direction is we be careful with our money and focus on the accumulation of money. The one is the danger of poverty. The other is the danger of wealth. Almost all contemporary Biblical teaching on money talks about the danger of poverty. Little is said on the danger of wealth. This seminar is focused primarily on the danger of wealth. I want participants to begin to treat wealth the way they might treat extreme sports. That is, they are attracted by them but more wary of the danger.
