“Generally speaking the emphasis within our therapeutic world is either improving the self with some kind of wisdom or improving the self’s environment. So we making 'good choices', staying away from draining people, do lots of self-care, etc. But at the very center of Christianity is Jesus. His journey leads to the cross.
